Quality Analyst

Overview: Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., is looking for a highly qualified and motivated quality professional to work on-site with the Corporate Quality Team.

 

This is a PART TIME position (up to 30hrs/week) working to support the Corporate Quality Team and Vishay Divisions worldwide.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Review and negotiate (through Legal and Sales) Customer Quality contracts.
  • Act as Corporate Document Control Administrator
    • Maintain and revise Corporate Quality procedures as necessary
  • Manage Vishay manufacturing and support locations quality certificates (ISO &IATF)
  • Maintain Vishay Customers' Specific Requirements matrix
  • Review and score customer 8D reports
  • Answer web-based customer quality general questions

 

Ideal Candidate should possess:

  •  3+ years of Quality Engineering or Electronics Manufacturing Quality experience
  • Familiarity with Automotive Industry Quality requirements
  • Skilled in 8D Process, Root Cause Analysis, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Familiarity with ISO/IATF Quality standards requirements
  • Previous contract review experience
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize workload responsibilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal managment and staff, outisde clients and customers

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree
