Where You’ll Work & The Scope:

Vishay Columbus, NE is currently seeking a Full Time Programmer Analyst to design, develop, modify, debug and evaluate programs for functional areas, including but not limited to finance, human resources, manufacturing, and marketing.  Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs.  Develops conversion and system implementation plans.  Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation.  Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.  Trains users in conversion and implementation of system. Supports other IT sub-systems with programming and day-to-day operations.

 

 

How You’ll Help Us Build The DNA of Tech:

 

  • Day-to-day maintenance of applications (example:  user accounts, configuration changes, etc.)
  • Implement modifications to applications, including development, debugging and rollout.
  • Day-today support of IT sub-systems as determined by management (example:  user accounts, configuration changes, etc.)

 

Experience You’ll Need:

  • BS Degree in Computer Science.
  • 1 -3 years of experience with manufacturing software systems.
  • Solid analytical and communication skills.
