The Inbound Material Warehousing team provides value add by: Accepting incoming goods and controlling related shipping document (material number, description, quantity). Checking incoming goods for visible damage, documenting them and providing the information if required. Transport and store incoming goods in the warehouse, according to OBU plan. Capturing relevant data in data processing systems. Organizing a regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area. A supervisor at this level: Leads focused warehouse/fork lifter team, and instructs operators to execute work, when appropriate. Closely supervises process execution, and all resources and personnel employed. Initiates immediate problem solving (according to existing rules or patterns) in case of any dysfunctionality in process.
