Snr Process Engineer – SiC EPI
In this role you will work with the Engineering and Production team members to develop advanced epitaxial processes solutions for the power devices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop SiC epi layers to meet the requirements of production device line.

  • Using DOE technique to design and conduct experiments to improve epi layers and device performance.

  • In cross functional Teams, takes a practical approach to solve process & equipment issues.

  • Provide process suggestions to the Team for the improvement of the product (process performance, reliability, and other criteria).

  • Produce technical papers and presentations on process, equipment, and device integration improvement.

Education & Experience

  • Master/PhD degree in materials science, physics, chemical engineering, or electrical engineering.

  • 5+ years in the semiconductor process & manufacturing industry.

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Chemical Vapor Deposition Equipment for the development of epitaxial films for the semiconductor device manufacturing. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the growth and characterization of Si, SiC, GaN epitaxial films is desirable.

  • Ability to characterize the epitaxial layers for their physical and electrical properties (using: FTIR, CV, Surface defects mapping, etc).

  • Ability to develop and characterize epitaxial processes using DOE and advanced statistical methods.

  • Knowledge on troubleshooting methods to tackle problems in a swift manner.

  • Knowledge on semiconductor devices & processes in correlation with epi quality.

  • Ability to deploy the film requirements of device line to develop epitaxial solutions to meet HVM expectations.

  • Experience in interpretation of results from materials characterization techniques such as SIMS, AFM, XRD, SEM/TEM, TXRF, Raman and ellipsometry is highly desirable.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally, and written form through technical presentations and technical reports.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented with high commitment to quality.
