Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech?®  Vishay Electronic GmbH in Selb is currently seeking applicants for a Senior Manager Division Controller (m/w/d) for Ceramic Capacitors and Non-Linear Resistors Division in Selb/Germany.

Job Location:

Vishay Electronic GmbH in Selb is the European headquarter and development and production site for passive components. Since 1996 as part of Vishay we have been manufacturing resistors and capacitors. These electronic components are used in medical, entertainment and automotive electronics, among others. With around 900 employees, Vishay plays a key role as one of the most important employers in our region. The town of Selb is located directly on the Czech border and boasts the scenic surroundings of the Fichtelgebirge.

What you will be doing:

• Implement upper management financial strategy at divisional level.
• Support division treasury operations including cash management, care and custody of funds and other assets.
• Implement financial plans and policies with strict adherence to SOX and GAAP to meet division goals in control of accounts and cost centers.
• Participate in meetings which foster decision to set forth plans to achieve cost objectives, headcount planning, etc.
• Approve budgets and capital expenditures as set by top organizational level. Interpret financial data, oversee systems to develop reports and handle special projects as assigned.
• Establish and maintain accounting practices and relationships with the financial community.
• Select appropriate subordinate group to ensure smooth company operations. Provides training to staff.

What you will bring along:

• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field is required.
• A minimum of 6 – 8 years of experience is required in a senior finance and accounting role.
• Proficient knowledge of US GAAP and German GAAP and related financial reporting regulations and standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and delegate as needed.
• Qualitative abilities including strong analytical skills and forecasting skills, technical proficiency, effective problem-solving skills and strong ability to interpret statistical and accounting information/reports.
• Leadership skills with the ability to work under pressure and cultivate and develop key relationships.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are required along with the ability to influence others and interface with external contacts, internal management, and accounting and finance team.
• Ability to present financial information effectively.
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems (preferably SAP).
