- The VISHAY Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team provides value by setting safety standards for employees within the organization.
A job at this level:
- Incident investigation and reporting, including root cause analysis and implementation of changes
- Cultivate and continuously improve safety culture through implementation and education of policies and standards
- Maintain all applicable procedures, processes, and programs related to EHS and compliance in relation to all state and federal statutes
- Assist with record keeping, presentation, and evaluation of EHS records and key performance indicators (incident log, utilities, etc)
- Help evaluate, implement, and maintain ISO 14001 and 45001 standards
- Plays role in the implementation of workplace ergonomics, safety and program solutions
- Act as site first responder and member of safety committee
- Facilitate training related to EHS matters
- Maintain safety related records

- Proficient in MS Office (run spreadsheets, make presentations, book meetings, manage calendars, management email, edit Word docs)
- Workplace safety knowledge highly beneficial
- Manufacturing experience or exposure highly beneficial
- CPR, EMT, Audit or other Health and Safety experience, a plus
- Strong desire to facilitate workplace safety and establish systems and standards
- First Responder for health and safety instances
