Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.?  Vishay HiRel is currently seeking applicants for a Operator at the Duluth, MN location. 

Job Location:

This position will be on-site at the Duluth, MN facility, near Airpark blvd and Haines Road.

The Vishay Manufacturing team provides value add by: Producing high quality electronic components and assemblies for high reliability applications.

A job at this level:

- Builds electronic components by winding, soldering (components and printed circuit boards), crimping, masking, encapsulating, conformal coating and epoxy. - Mechanical and electrical assembly of products.

- Test parts, subassemblies and finished goods, record results.

- Document test results, procedures and materials as needed.

- Use mechanical measuring equipment.

- Partner with engineers and other manufacturing team members to improve efficiency and quality of our products.

- Executes task(s), as directed.

- Reports any failure or dysfunctionality to responsible employees or supervisor.

- Obeys all work rules and EHS regulations as valid for the work task(s) assigned.

What we would like from you:

Basic computer skills

Basic math skills

Attention to detail

Good eyesight

Ability to use a microscope

Ability to set up and operate equipment (winders, mold press, ovens, test equipment)

Soldering Skills (preferred)

What can we offer you for your talent:

Work hours: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM

Pay: $18/hr starting pay (additional compensation may be added based on experience)
