Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.?  Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is currently seeking applicants for a Costing Executive. Responsible for monthly closing activities, conducting detailed cost analysis for products, support cost savings calculation to maximize margins. Work closely with various departments to streamline expenses, improve profitability, and support the organization’s financial objectives.

Job Location:

This position will be located at Krubong, Melaka in a vibrant industrial area. You will experience different exciting local cultures in this historical state. Nearby are malls and various restaurants. It is also close to recreation parks and a stadium.

What you will be doing:

• To prepare and on time submission of month end / quarterly financial report package and analysis for management and Division review.
• Prepare and analyse performance and development of annual budget by Business Units.
• Maintain accurate product costing data and support business unit cost per piece analysis.
• Assist and involve in yearly physical inventory count for Business Units.
• Support business unit on cost savings / reductions calculations.
• Support business unit on payback analysis / ROI calculation.

What you will bring along:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in cost accounting for manufacturing industry.
• Minimum Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent
• Able to perform analytical reviews for costing data, good communication and interpersonal skill, problem solving skill and a team player.
• Computer literate (good in MS. Excel & Power Point), preferably with cost controlling experience and basic accounting knowledge.
• Experience in using SAP would be an added advantage.
