Do you want to be a part of the critical infastructure in today's growing technology? Vishay Yankton, South Dakota, is currently seeking a fulltime Quality Inspector responsible for performing product inspections and/or audits of quality control programs. We're looking for an individual with the ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail in order to properly inspect the close tolerance of part being manufactured, be able to work in a team environment, and meet Vishay's attendance policy.
Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process, final, and packaging inspections
- Ensure in-process and finished product meets specifications
- Accept or reject orders once analytical data is evaluated
- Prepae and review customer required data and certification packages
- Minimize down time by reducing production rework and recalls
- Use gauges and test equipment to perform inspections
- Refers to and understands assembly drawings, blueprints, specifications and inspection criteria procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year's manufacturing experience
- Proficient in Microsoft office products
