Compensation & Benefits Supervisor

Vishay Intertechnology Malvern, PA is currently seeking a full time Supervisor of Compensation & Benefits within our HR Operations team. The HR Operations Supervisor is responsible for designing, maintaining, implementing as well as ongoing evaluation of organizations compensation programs and strategies. This includes but is not limited to providing HR metrics and analytics for various compensation programs; working with HR business partners to ensure compensation plans support the organization's business objectives and meet all legal requirements, and partnering with HR Operations team to ensure all compensation programs are administered in accordance with plan provisions. Oversees benefits administration and supervises HR Operations Benefits Specialist. Participates in development and execution of benefits strategy and leads audit efforts to maintain regulatory requirements of all plans.

 Primary Responsibilities 

 

  • Oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s compensation programs, including total rewards, job analysis/evaluation, salary structure administration, and design of base salary and variable cash compensation programs
  • Works with the HR Business Partners on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation and job evaluation including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs.
  • Provides thought leadership and execution of executive compensation and program design; collaborates with HR business partners to make appropriate decisions regarding total rewards.
  • Stay apprised of industry trends and identify opportunities for enhancement to existing policies, practices and plans.  Ensure compliance with state, federal, and international statutes and legislation. 
  • Supervises and mentor benefits specialist with benefits plan design, open enrollment, LOA management, vendor interface files, employee communications and implementation of any changes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • 5 years compensation and benefits experience at a senior or higher level that includes a thorough understanding of the administration and regulatory/legal requirements of compensation and benefit plans
  • Strong knowledge of HR related state and federal laws and regulations is preferred
  • Experience using Ultimate Software is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business or human resources related field is a plus!
  • CEBS Certification a plus!
  • PC skills with strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
