Vishay UltraSource in Hollis, NH is seeking a Quality Inspection Team Leader to support manufacturing. Join our team of exceptional and dedicated employees and work on challenging and rewarding projects, grow your skills, and advance your career.
 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • In this role you will work in the cleanroom to perform In-Process and Final Inspection operations on thin film microelectronics products and assemblies.
  • You will receive training to become a certified inspector utilizing MIL-STD-883 inspection criteria.
  • You will work from drawings and inspection instructions to visually inspect moderate to complex parts and assemblies to ensure compliance to all applicable customer quality specifications and standards.
  • Perform accurate data entry and computer transactions.
  • You will be trained and asked to participate in performing process audits.
  • This role requires about a 60% individual contributor to the inspection area workload.
  • Train, coach, and mentor shift employees to improve their inspection techniques and productivity.
  • Facilitate problem solving within the area and escalate issues to supervision as needed in order to drive closure.
  • Document and communicate end of shift pass down to supervisor.

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow customer drawings, process instructions, and other related documents.
  • 3+ years of experience with inspecting or manufacturing microelectronics devices.
  • Capable of performing in-process and final inspection operations utilizing a microscope for the majority of the workday.
  • Prior experience working in a cleanroom environment.
  • Prior background with training and coaching coworkers and employees.
  • Prior experience with military standards like MIL-STD-883 and IPC-A-610.
  • Computer literate and able to navigate production related software products.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills along with English literacy to ensure the ability to follow all instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to focus on tasking while paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and positively contribute to a team-based environment.
  • High School Degree or GED equivalent.
