Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in today's growing technology?  Vishay UltraSource is currently seeking an Equipment Technician to ensure the production equipment is maintained and functioning at peak performance.  This is achieved with skilled troubleshooting of equipment and complete preventative tasks and projects.  Conducted in a safe manner that ensures a functional work environment for all.  We are seeking a motivated problem solver to join our growing equipment team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Correct any production equipment problem that develop.  Having emphasis on determining root cause and implementing short- and long-term equipment solutions as needed.
  • Contribute to meeting team KPI of 95% uptime for production equipment.
  • Plan and complete equipment continuous improvement tasks and projects, with others as required.
  • Work closely with process engineering to manage change effectively.
  • Develop and maintain spare part inventory for applicable equipment.
  • Conduct equipment and facility preventive maintenance (PM) tasks as defined.
  • Conduct facility Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) PM tasks as defined
  • Participate on UltraSource’s Joint Loss Management Committee (JLMC).
  • Other tasks as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Experience with high vacuum systems, preferable Sputtering or PCVD needed
  • Solid knowledge of vacuum and sputtering theory
  • Able to work independently and with minimal direct supervision.
  • Must have great manual dexterity and skilled with various hand tools.
  • Have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude for problem solving

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent, a plus
  • Experience with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and New Hampshire Department of Environmental Protection (NHDES) regulations, including Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Good writing and documentation skills
  • Available to work evenings and/or weekends if needed
