Where You'll Work & The Scope:

Vishay, Dover, New Hampshire, is currently seeking a full-time Process Engineer to provide technical and sustaining engineering support to a magnetic/electronic component production facility.

 

How You'll Help Us Build The DNA of Tech:

  • Provides technical support to production cells by examining production methods, materials, and facilities - seeking out areas of improvement and initiates any necessary action with vendors and internal Vishay departments
  • Recommends improvements, modifications, and possible new design of production equipment
  • Performs design of simple to moderately complex test equipment jigs, fixtures, tools, etc.  
  • Hanles line check-out of new equipment
  • Serves in a consulting capacity with regards to trouble shooting of prototype or production equipment
  • Interfaces with Design/Development Engineering, Operations, and QA in addressing urgent needs or developing plans to address customer issues
  • Leads technicians and team members in equipment and/or improvement projects

 

Experience You'll Need:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Two years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Applied work experience with the following tools, standards, and systems (Project Management, APQP/PPAP, FMEA, FAIRs, Lean-Sigma, Minitab
  • A high level of mechanical aptitude and ability to translate design ideas into useable specifications
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and/or leader
  • A high degree of customer service orientation
