Vishay, Dover, New Hampshire, is currently seeking a Product Marketing Manager responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan to expand sales revenue and manage custom magnetic customer development in Northeast US.  Vishay would also consider remote workers from the East Coast area with preference in MA, NH or CT. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a market strategy for pursuit of new business through market research and review of customers' future product needs and document plans to support revenue growth
  • Maintain and grow business relationships with current and new customers
  • Manage New Product Development projects and Systems Development in support of customers
  • Assess competitor product offerings at key accounts and focus markets
  • Review of regional/key customr costing estimates including setting and approving pricing
  • Communicate on customer discussions with other PMMs as required by customer and Vishay Division Marketing and Vishay Sales Group
  • Reinforce and train on the Custom Magnetics product and market focus with the Vishay Sales and Regional Marketing groups
  • Expedite the resolution of customer deliveries, service problems, and complaints and communicate with the Division and Vishay Sales Group
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate customer audits and visits
  • Keep management informed by submitting monthly reports for region
  • Maintain "Pipeline" opportunities and report on "Pipeline" activities in regularly scheduled conference calls

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Engineering or Administration
  • 10+ years' industry experience in electronic component sales
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and ability to determine solutions for customers
  • Must be results-oriented and ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills along with a high degree of organizational, presentation, analytical and technical skills 
  • Proficiency in MS Office products required
