Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.?  Vishay Italy is currently seeking applicants for Senior Engineer E-Mobility Applications. In this position, you will responsible Hardware and Software expert as a user to design and Test new Customer Designs such as on-board chargers, traction inverter, DCDC converter and auxiliary high voltage circuit. Together with other experts, you will manage customer projects in the laboratory, the system test or submodule tests are your main focuses. You will supply to different VISHAY division, active component and passive component, the necessary specifications for product R&D.

Job Location:

Vishay Semiconductor Italiana spa is site focused on the design, development and production of power diodes and power modules. There are around 300 employees currently work in Borgaro Torinese Italy. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans.

What you will be doing:

• To manage hardware and software as a user to design and test new customer designs such as on-board chargers, traction inverter, DCDC converter and auxiliary high voltage circuit.
• To evaluate and measure performance of devices and to define all details regarding the power electronic components.
• To manage the product development project, coordinating roll-out of project plan and managing the achievement of the plan.
• To manage Customer Projects in the laboratory, the system test or submodule tests are main focuses.
• To understand and identify the requirements of key components for different circuit and application.
• To manage and organize the test of latest applications in the laboratory, software experience with automotive simulation tools.
• Willingness to travel.

What you will bring along:

• Bachelors Master’s degree, PhD Level Electronics or Physics in electrical engineering or similar.
• 5+ years’ relevant experience with Automotive HV projects or power converters.
• Excellent Knowledge of WBG Semiconductors and good understanding of Power Inverters and Converters for Electrical Vehicles.
• Good knowledge of passive components (capacitor and magnetic component) and high-voltage circuit; since voltages of up to 1kV.

• Good attitude in dealing with issues and requests from Top Managers.
• Good motivation to master new major challenges.
• Good coaching and mentoring skill.
