Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Intertechnology is currently seeking a Sr. Product Marketing Manager responsible for charting the future of our Polymer Tantalum Capacitor products.  By leading this strategically important growth engine within the corporation, this position is highly visible and a great opportunity for a confident and articulate leader. 

The Sr. Product Marketing Manager will focus on revenue growth with clear objectives to win new designs, penetrate the customer base, train partners in field, all in collaboration with our global team.  This role is fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States. The successful candidate will:  have the ability to negotiate, coordinate, and collaborate with cross-functional multi-national teams in sales and operations; understand how to make a business successful and drive actions to closure; have exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills; and have a desire to challenge convention.

Job Location:

This is a remote position. An ideal candidate would be near the Boston, MA/Maine vicinity.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop, articulate, and champion the go-to-market product strategies and tactics through interaction with Sales and channel partners worldwide.
  • Conduct market research, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs. 
  • Establish pricing strategies which maintain competitiveness while delivering on revenue and margin goals.
  • Be the link between R&D and the market representing the voice of the customer while defining a strategic development plan.  Ensures we deliver successful products which meets the market needs of today and tomorrow.
  • Develop compelling product launch collateral.
  • Inspire and continuously enable Sales through product training and support.
  • Facilitate and enable advertising decisions with corporate MARCOM and distribution managers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders. 

What you will bring along:

  • Experience/education in electronics, electronic components, and/or electrical engineering preferred. 
  • Need a solid understanding of the electronics component industry with prior field experience highly desirable (business development engineer, applications engineer).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. 
  • About 30% travel required.
