Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech?  Vishay Yankton, SD is currently seeking applicants for Engineering Internships for summer 2026. Responsible for supporting engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly or prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment.

Job Location:

This position is located on-site Yankton, SD.  We are situated in Southeast South Dakota: on the banks of the Missouri River and minutes from Lewis and Clark Lake where you can enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational activities.

What you will be doing:

• Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, check-out and trouble-shooting functions.
• Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
• Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.
• Assists in the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment.
• Uses manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment, including but not limited to, test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus.

What you will bring along:

• Pursuing an Engineering degree in ME, EE or IE, sophomore classes completed.
