Vishay is currently seeking a Vice President, Regional Marketing Europe.  This position is fully responsible for all marketing activities within the region.  This position requires a thorough understanding of division products, market prices, customer applications, competitive forces and product costs along with excellent communications skills. 

Job Location: 
Region:  Europe
Field travel visiting customers and distributors is expected.

What you will be doing: 
•    Set strategic direction to maximize variable margin dollars while still achieving the division’s sales forecast & growth targets
•    Provide market intelligence to product divisions
•    Establish and drive all regional efforts to achieve design-in goals and identify new product opportunities. 
•    Oversee all staff member responsibilities; provides guidance and high-level training as required. 
•    Lead regional marketing Semiconductors & Passive components team efforts to maximize market shares & turnover.
•    Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Directors Europe 
  
What you will bring along: 
•    B.S. in Engineering or equivalent, BSEE preferred.  MBA would be a benefit.
•    +10 years of management experience in sales or marketing within the electronics industry. 
•    Experience in dealing with division’s product offerings. Prior engineering experience beneficial.
