Your general duties will include:
- Sustain (PM) and troubleshoot equipment during shift hours.
- Provide technical guidance to Shift Equipment Technicians
- Manage the first level of corrective action recovery plans to Out of control equipment situations
- Conduct and direct equipment experiment/improvement actions and projects.
- Support manufacturing shift by providing assistance and training (TSO) in his/her area.
- Organise and provide documentation and procedures for basic equipment checks
- Interface with Day Shift Engineers (equipment and process) and manufacturing on line issues.
- Review, write and maintain procedures on equipment maintenance.
Qualifications and education requirements:
- Degree/HND in Scientific/Engineering discipline is preferred.
Desired skills:
Knowledge of any of the following tools would be beneficial:
- Implant and PVD – Applied and Axcelis Implant tools, Applied Endura, Tel Nexx and FXP
- Photo - Nikon steppers. FSI Polaris and Tel track. Metrology tool sets - Hitachi CD SEM, KLA2135 defectivity and IVS Overlay
- Wet Etch – Automated batch wet processing tools, Semitool and Siconnex wet processing tools, CMP Applied and Ipec tools.
- Dry Etch - Applied and Lam Etch tools, Gasonics Ashers
- Detailed knowledge of wafer fab manufacturing equipment and systems – in-depth electrical / electronic and mechanical knowledge
- Strong training skills and technical familiarity with product and equipment.
- Ideally 3 years plus wafer fab experience.
- Familiar with all modern manufacturing concepts such as; JIT, KANBAN, Zero Defects, SPC, TQM and TPM.
- Experienced in driving continuous improvement activities and projects for assigned measurables.
- Highly motivated, results orientated customer service orientated, strong teamworking and communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours.
