The Assembly & Test Operations team provides value add by:
Adhering or ensuring adherence to relevant internal work instructions, safety rules and applicable regulations (e.g., EHS).
Executing, supervising or managing back-end assembly and test operations:
* Die preparation and attachment;
* Bonding, molding, trim&form, testing, etc.;
* Organizing assigned stocks for parts, semi-products or components;
* Assembling according to plan, and using specific equipment (machines, specialized tools).
Performing prescribed sight checks, functionality or general quality test routines and procedures.
A job at this level:
Applies specifically work-related skills to execute few and focused procedures assigned.
Assembles/mounts parts to modules or modules to products, in a repetitive mode.
May utilize assembly machine or few devices to accomplish the assigned work operation.
Monitors the provision of parts and material need (in a Kanban system), or manage own hand stock.
Executes obviously simply structured functionality and quality related tests (e. g. , sight checks).
