Job Location:

This position is located on-site Yankton, SD.  We are situated in Southeast South Dakota: on the banks of the Missouri River and minutes from Lewis and Clark Lake where you can enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational activities.

What you will be doing:

• Performs incoming raw material inspections

• Ensures incoming product meets specification

• Accept or reject raw materials lots once analytical data is evaluated

• Reviews supplier certifications to verify compliance with customer requirements.

• Minimize down time by reducing production rework and recalls

• Uses gauges and test equipment to perform inspections.

• Refers to and understands assembly drawings, blueprints, specifications and inspection criteria procedures.

• Responsible for accepting or rejecting incoming raw materials in compliance to documented criteria

• Creating and reviewing customer required certification packages

• As a skilled specialist, completes tasks in creative and effective ways. 

• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail in order to properly inspect the close tolerance parts being manufactured.

• Proficient in Microsoft office products

What to bring along:

• H.S diploma, or its equivalent
• One to two years’ manufacturing experience
• Generally good working conditions 
• Ability to do light to moderately heavy physical effort in order to lift and handle materials being inspected
• Occasionally lift materials up to 40lb.
• May have occasional exposure to dust, noise, heat, or mild chemicals that fall below acceptable limits as established by current government standards. 
• Safety equipment may be required.
