Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.?  Vishay Polytech Co., Ltd. is a Vishay group company that manufactures tantalum capacitors under the Vishay Tantalum Division (Dimona, Israel). Vishay Polytech is currently seeking applicants for the position of Process Engineer. This position belongs to the R&D Department and is responsible for analyzing problems in the tantalum capacitor manufacturing process, creating solutions, and making improvements. This is a very important role, working closely with the manufacturing department to improve quality and production efficiency by maintaining close communication and providing support for the manufacturing process.

Vishay Polytech Co., Ltd. is located in Miharu-town, Tamura-gun, Fukushima Prefecture. Miharu Town is located in the central part of Fukushima Prefecture, and there is little snowfall in the winter. Miharu Town is home to Takizakura, one of Japan's three major cherry blossoms, and is a quiet environment full of nature. However, life is convenient as it is adjacent to Koriyama City, the core city of Fukushima Prefecture, and Tokyo can be accessed in a short time by Shinkansen.

What you will be doing:

• To have responsibility for the manufacturing process of tantalum capacitors
• To analyze processes and problems in the lines and leading organized and documented solutions.
• To Deal with the challenges of the current process and providing production support.
• To perform productivity improvement and continuous improvement of the various products in the production line.

• To perform engineering experiments to qualify new processes, to increase productivity, certify raw materials, etc.

• To Make / administrate delivery specification, procurement specification, design master data.
• To Make technical document, handle with technical data, environmental data and survey of conflict related mineral etc.

What you will bring along:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry /Physics /Electricity or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 years of relevant working experience (or equivalent academic experience/knowledge)
• Handling with Japanese and English(business level is preferable)
• Knowledge of Patent and Design preferred
• Knowledge of JIS,JAITA,EIA,AEC preferred
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
