Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.?  Vishay Dale Electronics is currently seeking applicants for an Administrative Assistant to SVP Global HR, responsible for managing communication across the global HR team, coordinating projects, providing technical and administrative support, and performing various administrative duties and responsibilities in support of the SVP Global HR.

 Job Location:  The position will be in our Columbus, NE facility.

What you will be doing:

  • Exercises independent judgment concerning matters requiring the attention of the SVP Global HR to assure timely action.
  • Reviews complex documents, records, and correspondence for accuracy, completeness, and compliance to applicable rules, regulations, policies, administrative procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Assists the SVP Global HR to ensure he is organized and has necessary availability for colleagues across the organization while fielding internal and external scheduling requests and providing recommendations aligned with executives’ and teams’ priorities.
  • Collaborate with leaders cross-functionally, helping to coordinate meetings, agendas, related logistics, and changing plans.
  • Conduct data mining, analysis and generate reports to track and inform on key performance indicators.
  • Support administration of variable compensation programs, including data maintenance and reporting.
  • Performs various special studies and projects, gathers required information, compiles statistics, formats and prepares reports.
  • Maintain global organizational charts and reporting structure documentation and communications.
  • Handle highly confidential and/or sensitive departmental matters with discretion and tact.
  • Proactively develop effective and collaborative relationships with all levels of management, build strong relationships, and be seen as a general go-to person for questions related to ways of working.
  • Plan and coordinate team meetings, internal events, and all related logistical and budget requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate travel.
  • Coordinates and schedules meetings. Prepares agendas with clear outcomes. Records and distributes minutes or other notes when necessary.
  • Supports the development of key presentation materials with a dedication to quality and attention to detail as an extension of the team you support.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What you will bring along:

  • 3+ years of experience as an admin assistant
  • Associate Degree in Business required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • The ability to manage complex situations and make well-thought-out decisions.
  • Analytical and a proven ability to synthesize data and create meaningful and accurate data summaries.
  • Always represent Vishay in a high service, professional, compassionate manner
  • Curious, resourceful and passion for problem solving.
  • Flexibility to assist in different types of roles and responsibilities as they come up.
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Highly organized with the ability to reprioritize at a moment’s notice.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with an emphasis on quality, sophistication, and maturity to deal directly with internal and external clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to protect and manage confidential information appropriately.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Initiative-taker with the ability to work independently.
  • Workday experience strongly preferred.
