Do you want to be a part of the critical infastructure in today's growing technology? Vishay Yankton, South Dakota, is currently seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance, preventatvie maintenance, etc. on manufacturing equipment as necessary to maintain production line operations. Performs electrical and mechanical assembly and debug on new and prototype manufacturing equipment. Works closely with Automation Engineering and Machine Shop to troubleshoot and eliminate problems on new and existing equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance, preventive maintenance and setup.
- Equipment assembly and debug
- Equipment troubleshooting
- Ordering parts to maintain and build equipment
- Insuring equipment is operating safely
- May operate forklift
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Good mechanical and electrical skills are a neecssity
- Must be able to read mechanical and electrical drawings and from these drawings be able to assemble and disassemble moderately complex equipment
- HS Diploma or GED plus specialized training equivalent to two years of college or technical school.
- Minimum of two years applicable experience
