Where You'll Work & The Scope:

Vishay Yankton is currently seeking a full time Administrative Assistant responsible for providing analytical and specialized administrative support to relieve staff of tasks and administrative duties. Responsible for managing, maintaining and controlling raw material inventory dollars per budget. Coordinates domestic and international shipments of raw materials to various Vishay locations worldwide.Provides analytical and specialized administrative support to relieve staff of tasks and administrative duties. Responsible for managing, maintaining and controlling raw material inventory dollars per budget. How You'll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech:

  • Significant computer utilization is required with various programs such as SAP, Outlook, Access, Excel and Word.
  • Reviews raw material inventory from computer programs. 
    Initiates purchase orders/production orders, scheduling the correct quantity of material and arrival date.
  • Establishes stock balance and reorder quantities to support production requirements.
  • Coordinates and provides shipping documentation for raw materials and equipment for both domestic and international shipments.
  • Interacts and communicates with Planning, providing raw material delivery information.
  • Reviews Engineering Change Notices and coordinates with engineers and purchasing agents regarding raw material changes.
  • Performs material master creation and maintenance.
  • Expedites materials through Receiving Inspection as needed.
  • Works with Purchasing to either expedite or push out materials based on usage and need.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Experience You Will Need:

  • HS diploma or equivalent.  1-2 years of related experience, advanced computer education is required.  Computer proficiency in Excel and Word. 
  • Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
