Where You’ll Work & The Scope:

Vishay Electro-Films is currently seeking a 1st shift Post Manufacturing (PMO) Test Operator responsible for final testing on products as determined by customer or quality specifications. This includes equipment set-up, measuring critical dimensions, various electrical and mechanical testing, and visual inspection of products.  The Manufacturing Operator will help the cell meet its daily production obligations by adhering to quality and workmanship standards and producing work on-time and at the expected production rate. We’re looking for a reliable and motivated individual looking to start or continue growing a career in manufacturing.


How You’ll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech:

  • Verify critical dimensions (CD’s) on substrates as required using an automated microscope system.
  • Perform quality inspection of individual devices, in accordance with manufacturing specification requirements.
  • Perform a variety of tests to verify critical product specifications.
  • Accurately document production activities, record notes, and actions using electronic (computer) based production logs.
  • Strictly adhere to documented processes and procedures.
  • Properly use microscope to inspect photomasks and product to identify defects.
  • Completely and accurately record data in the appropriate logs.


Experience You’ll Need:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college coursework preferred. 
  • Must be available to work 1st shift 7:30am – 4:00pm Monday – Friday.
  • Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • 2 + years of electrical/mechanical testing experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform work under a microscope.
  • Experience handling small and fragile parts.
  • Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to details.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend manufacturing product specifications and testing procedures.
  • Must have demonstrated time management skills.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
