Where You’ll Work & The Scope:

Vishay Electro Films is seeking a Product Line Manager to join our team in Warwick, RI. The Product Line Manager has business and production ownership of our high-power back-contact resistor (IGBR) series thin film chip resistor products. The successful candidate will lead a new and promising product line with strong growth potential and compelling value proposition in the electric vehicle and automotive markets. This role is ideal for an energetic, motivated individual with strong business acumen and excellent communications skills. This position entails a significant level of influence internally with other business and functional teams.


How You’ll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech:

  • Own end-to-end P&L and production responsibilities for IGBR resistor product lines.
  • Partner with plant management, manufacturing, engineering, quality, marketing, facilities, supply chain, and finance organizations to optimize production and capacity expansions.
  • Must be able to develop roadmaps and master plans. Assemble and monitor project plans in support of overall project assessments, identify project shortfalls if they exist, and drive fixes to get projects back on track.
  • Support the marketing team to help close design wins and meet revenue targets. Present growth plans and roadmaps to external customers. Work with internal sales teams and customers to resolve quality or delivery issues should they arise.
  • The successful candidate will analyze information in order to reduce risk and solve problems with well thought out and properly sized solutions.
  • Recommend and initiate changes in current products and pricing necessary to maintain and increase sales and profits in accordance with corporate goals and policy.
  • Support the implementation and certification to the IATF 16949 Automotive QMS.
  • Be able to communicate clearly (verbal and written) across the Vishay organization as well as to customers.
  • Assess and implement staffing and equipment increases in order to support product line growth.
  • Ability to collaborate across functional areas, executive management, purchasing, contracts, operations, quality, security, human resources, logistics to develop and deliver products


Experience You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or business from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 7 years of engineering, marketing, or field sales experience with technical products.
  • Proven examples of production and portfolio management experience are essential.
  • MBA from an accredited institution preferred
