SAP SCM APO/PP Functional Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP APO/PP.
  • Configure, implement and support in the area of SAP Production Planning and Advanced Planning and Optimization.
  • Understand business requirements to provide solutions, functional specifications and configure the system accordingly.
  • Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues.
  • Document functional designs, test cases, and results.
  • Review standard SAP functionalities that can be incorporated for efficient use of our current SAP implementation.
  • Analyze new SAP functionalities which come with new releases and upgrades.
  • Identify ABAP development write a functional specification to develop customized functionality or new reports to meet business requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Development team and cross-functional teams to address solution requirements.
  • Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
  • Support and guide users in creating test cases, training documents, process documents.


Desired Skills & Experience

  • Sound understanding in SAP more than 6 years of hands-on experience including in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects
  • Experience with SAP APO/PP in Demand planning/SNP/PPDS/gATP, ECC/S4H production planning.
  • Excellent understanding of integration with SD, MM, WM, and FICO modules.
  • Multiple end-to-end project experience.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry is preferred but not desired.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in English.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
  • Good at expressing, communicating and coordinating, analyzing, and solving problems.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
  • Must be results-oriented, and demonstrate a can-do attitude – adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
