Customer Service Supervisor

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Vishay in Columbus, Ne is looking for a Customer Service Supervisor. This position would be responsible for supervising the customer service functions, such as order processing, customer expediting, returns, large account management, and supervision of Customer Service personnel.   

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Supervises and manages the work assignments of 10-15 Customer Service personnel.  Responsible for identifying the training needs of department employees, preparing employee evaluations, administering merit wage increases and handling corrective actions when required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Maintains an open line of communications to the Customer Service Manager and to all outside field sales representatives.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Receives and resolves customer complaints concerning shortages, damages, poor quality, mixed ware, incorrect and incomplete documentation and late receipt of product.  Resolution of problems can include coordination of authorization of returns and issuance of credit with divisional contacts.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Supervises activities such as order entry, expediting, coordination of return authorizations and credit administration with applicable product divisions.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Implements approved policies/procedures that need to be followed by CSR’s.  Monitors for compliance.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Coordinates account activities with the Area Sales Directors regarding specific issues within that territory.

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Requirements:

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">5 years of experience in customer service environment with appropriate supervisory skills

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> BS in business or equivalent in experience.

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Broad knowledge of a discipline such as marketing, sales management, or    business administration.

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsible for supervising 10-15 people
