Vishay Intertechnology Asia Pte Ltd is currently seeking a full time Assistant Manager, Legal for Asia:


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts, attending to legal disputes, and advising on general legal matters relating to Asia.
  • Draft and review corporate secretarial documents for Asia entities.
  • Research, draft policies, conduct training and audit on Trade Compliance and/or Data Privacy in Asia.
  • Liaise as necessary with external local counsel in each country on legal and regulatory matters.
  • Research, disseminate and advise changes in Asian regulations to the required departments for their actions.
  • Escalate irregularities to Legal Director, Asia and working on remediation actions.
  • Work with local teams, Regional and Corporate management on policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and Global Compliance Programs.
  • Assist Legal Director, Asia on legal documents management in Asia.
  • Supporting other general legal matters in Asia region                                                



  • Bachelor degree in Law or equivalent qualification. Bar qualification in either China/Taiwan/Singapore/Malaysia would be a plus.
  • Minimum 5 year inhouse legal /external counsel experience in Asia.  Experience in related industry would be a plus.
  • Good communication skills –- including written and verbal fluency in both English and Mandarin.
  • Good Interpersonal Skills to be able to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
  • A detailed oriented person who exercises good judgment and is able to think creatively and critically.
