Human Resources Manager

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Manage a range of activities related to the administration of policies and practices in the areas of employee relations, benefits, recruitment, retention and training. Partner with the corporate leadership team to interpret programs that will offer corporate direction to field personnel.

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Responsible for the functional components of human resources, specifically in the areas of organizational effectiveness, employee relations, training, recruitment and compensation.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Directs the administration of staffing strategies, hiring processes, and other responsibilities related to staffing administration.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Benefits administration – new hire orientation,
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Assist to the Safety committee. Partners with management, loss control professional and employees to reduce risk and provide a safe work environment for everyone
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Assist in the administration of the company evaluation program.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Participate in, or manage the problem solving complaint procedure, which encourages employees and managers to air specific job related problems. This includes maintaining an open door policy for all employees.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Conduct employee exit interviews and ensure all paperwork has been completed and all company property has been returned. This includes handling requests to deactivate user log-ins, phone access, etc.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Counsels management and employee regarding employee relations matters and is personally involved and internal investigations and disciplinary matters
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Create and maintain Organization Charts.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Effectively leads and manager HR Staff. Provides necessary direction and development opportunities.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Creates and maintain  local company policies and procedures
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Attend together with the corporate Attorneys all the legal matters related with the Company.


<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Ensures compliance with the Dominican Republic Government agencies

  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Coordinate programs and employee activities.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Manage local payroll process plus auditing and is responsible for the overall accuracy of payroll.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Perform local market analysis to maintain competitive positions
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Ensures the completion and accuracy of monthly headcount reports and works on special projects as assigned
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Perform other duties as assigned or as become evident.

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif"> EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">BA or related Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience with professional certification
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">5+ years experience in human resource management
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Knowledge of the Dominican Republic labor laws.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Must be Bilingual (English-Spanish)
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Solid human resources generalist experience
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Excellent interpersonal and written skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Knowledge of SAP and Success Factors is a Plus
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Experience in the Electronic Industry (preferably)
