Where You’ll Work & The Scope:

Vishay Siliconix, a leader in the development of power semiconductor products which improves efficiency in electronic systems for consumer, industrial, automotive, medical, and military applications, is currently seeking a Senior Manager Supply Chain Systems and Processes.  This position is in San Jose, California.

 

As Senior Manger Supply Chain Systems and Processes you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery and adoption of Supply chain Planning and Order fulfillment solutions leveraging SAP ECC and APO solutions. The individual will leverage his/her subject matter expertise in Supply Chain Management processes as well as APO towards solution design, build, customization, and test & deployment. You will lead collaboration, change management and adoption for this business transformation initiative with planning, operations, marketing, purchasing personnel to ensure significant value is achieved at the division level. This role will also be required to successfully build credible partnerships across business functions, stakeholders, and Information Technology (IT) to achieve intended value propositions of strategic initiatives.

 

How You’ll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech:

You will work closely with external consultants and IT, lead SAP key users in the US and in Asia, coordinate with other teams for successful delivery of integrated solutions as well as ensure development of functional and technical documentation. You will leverage project management skills to develop detailed task plan towards timely completion of project milestones while managing relationships and driving consensus on complex business solutions. You will work closely with Operations and IT to find opportunities for efficiency and process improvements and develop project roadmaps for execution.

The candidate should have demonstrated capability to analyze business processes, functional and technical requirements. He/She must ensure that design and rollout are successful by providing change management support with focus on people-side of changes to business processes, systems, job roles, and organization structuresThe candidate must possess subject matter expertise in rough-cut-capacity planning, safety stock planning and two of the three (Heuristics, CTM, Optimizer) planning engines. The candidate should demonstrate deep understanding of SAP package solution implementation tools and methodologies (such as ASAP). Familiarity with other supply chain tools such as SCOR model, APICS certification, PMP would be added assets.

 

Experience You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Masters preferred.
  • 5+ years in a similar role with strong focus on projects; Consulting background would be ideal
  • 3+ years’ experience in Semiconductor Industry
  • 2-3 Full cycle SAP APO or equivalent Planning solution (JDA, Kinaxis) implementation experience in Demand, Supply, Inventory and Order fulfillment.
  •  Experience with at least one SNP Planning Engine - Heuristic / CTM / Optimizer
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Planning process definition, analysis, design, and implementation
  • At least 2 years’ experience in package solution implementation methodology and tools
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Test case planning, test script development and execution
  • Proven track record of success implementing enterprise wide business transformation initiatives.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Readiness to travel 50% annually
  • Fluent in English.
