Where You'll Work & The Scope:

Vishay is currently seeking a Sr. Network Engineer responsible for maintaining and managing Vishay’s global enterprise network. The Sr. Network Engineer will configure and install various network devices and services, perform network maintenance, and design, implement, and troubleshoot security infrastructures.

Job Location: Magarpatta, Pune

How You'll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech:

• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, etc.)
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot Wi-Fi and security infrastructures.
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
• Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Experience You'll Need:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in IT.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
• Previous experience as a network engineer.
• Comprehensive understanding of network services and networks such as TCP/IP, IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, 802.11, QOS, etc.
• Must have excellend oral and written communication skills in the English language and the ability to work in teams.
• Relevant certifications in network/security platforms, such as Cisco, F5, Fortinet, is desired.
