Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in today’s growing technology?  Vishay in Niagara Falls, NY is seeking an Operator 2 (3rd shift Deposition Dept.) entry level candidate.  An ideal candidate should be able to follow the established manufacturing specifications, deposits film layers onto substrates/wafers according to established manufacturing specifications.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Ability to read and write in order to interpret production documents and accurately record required information such as part number, lot number, special instructions and process sequences.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using a learned method or a calculator.
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail in order to work with chemicals in a safe manner.
• Ability to perform more than one job function simultaneously
• Eye-hand coordination and good manual dexterity in order to accurately process the small products manufactured.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and run TM furnace and TCR station.
• Set up and load sputtering equipment for individual film depositing.
• Perform all steps necessary to apply appropriate films specification.
• Include test coupons in runs, etch, gold and measure before and after heat treat.
• Plasma clean and bake plates when necessary.
• Perform various tasks on the computer; output tracking, run sheets, and sheet resistivities before and after.
