Where You’ll Work & The Scope:

Vishay Ontario, CA is currently seeking a hourly full time Planner Analyst responsible for coordinating sales demand through production planning and procurement to provide production schedules to support customer requirements, meet the company’s financial requirements and inventory goals.  We’re looking for a self-sustaining, reliable, dependable and detail-oriented individual who takes the initiative to be a well diverse employee.


How You’ll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech:

  • Develop production schedules against sales demand and capacity to support the company’s monthly sales schedule and customer required dates.
  • Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering.
  • Review and modify scheduling of supplies to ensure uninterrupted production and the compliance of inventory goals.
  • Maintain monthly/weekly materials/planning related reports and information, such as lead times and capacity reports.
  • Supports the management of inventory accuracy.
  • Communicate as required with off-site Customer Service group.
  • May be asked to support other department projects/activities as required or assigned
  • May be asked to travel to Mexicali facility as needed.


Experience You’ll Need:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning
  • Experience with purchasing, planning, scheduling, and materials management systems
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • SAP and manufacturing environment preferred
