Where You'll Work & The Scope:

Vishay in Niagara Falls, NY is currently seeking a 3rd shift supervisor 11:00 pm to 7:30 am base hours.  The successful candidate is responsible for Supervising activities in production area to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives.  Implements production schedule based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply.  Administers procedures and follows budget.  Maintains schedules and manpower requirements for assigned area.  Generally supervises direct and indirect labor such as operators, assemblers, and other semi-skilled hourly and non-exempt employees to ensure the efficient operation of the function.


How You'll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech: 

  • Direct Supervision of Production Process and Personnel
  • Admninistrative responsibiities for Production personnel, including timekeeping, progress review, and corrective counseling
  • Monitor, evaluate and interpret data to ensure process integrity and specification compliance
  • Monitor and control operation of Production Equipment
  • Compile and enter Production Data records
  • Train and develop production staff regarding policies, procedures and related responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and specific data and input to production support departments and personnel
  • Meet with scheduling, engineering, and other support departments as needed 


Experience You'll Need:

  • B.S degree in electrical, mechanical or business related discipline OR a High School diploma with applicable job related training and experience coupled with Safety and Hazardous Materials Awareness training.
  • Minimum 5-years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or related production area with a strong technical background in related production equipment operations
