Vishay Thin Film is looking for a full-time Product Marketing Engineer at our Niagara Falls, NY location. The Product Marketing Engineer is responsible for supporting our customer base with technical knowledge for assigned product lines. This role will also assist in defining market strategies and new product direction.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain current status of customer requirements for existing and future products
• Indentify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives
• Work effectively with other staff members and customers to support technical opportunities
• Research, compile, and analyze data
• Create effective presentations for product training and promotion
• Support the customer drawing review process
• Maintain technical collaterals (datasheet, web)
• Act as the technical contact for responsible product group

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering field preferred
• Must be able to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Strong negotiation skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excell, Access, and Outlook. Mainframe systems knowledge is a plus
• Ability to work in standard office environment and travel occassionally as needed
