Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in today’s growing technology?  Vishay in Niagara Falls, NY is seeking a 3rd shift production Operator 2.  An ideal candidate should be able to follow the established manufacturing specifications, Using Micro-Processor controlled saws, cuts certamic or silicon parts according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Sets up saw per the instruction on the traveler.
• Prepare substrates for cutting by applying tape to the back of the part using proper tools, operate multiple saws to cut product per traveler instructions.
• Remove, wash in plate washer (or sink) and dry finished plate.
• Record appropriate information in the log books and Dynamics E-log.
• Keep work area clean with regular housekeeping.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by lead person or Supervisor.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Ability to read and write in order to interpret production documents and accurately record required information such as part number, lot number, special instructions and process sequences.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using a learned method or calculator.
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail in order to handle repetitive type work the manufacture of small, close tolerance parts.
• Ability to understand verbal instructions in order to take work direction and accurately manufacture products
