Operator 2 (Deposition 2nd Shift) 1

Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure of today’s growing technology?  Vishay in Niagara Falls, NY is seeking an Operator 2 (2nd shift Deposition Dept.) entry level candidate.  An ideal candidate should be able to work in a clean room environment and follow established manufacturing specifications.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Ability to read and write in order to accurately follow production documents and record required information such as part number, lot number, and special instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using a learned method or a calculator.
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail while working in a safe manner with machinery or chemicals used to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to perform more than one job function simultaneously.
• Eye-hand coordination and good manual dexterity in order to accurately process the small products manufactured.
   

Responsibilities:

• Set up and run ovens and test stations.
• Set up and load equipment used to deposit thin films on wafers or substrates.
• Perform all steps necessary to apply appropriate films to specification.
• Run test coupons and measure before and after heat treating.
• Clean and bake plates when necessary.
• Perform various tasks on the computer; tracking outputs, run sheets, testing samples before and after.
