Where You'll Work & The Scope:

Vishay Marshall, Minnesota, is currently seeking a full-time New Product Development Technician responsible for working closely with engineering, marketing, procurement, and production departments to develop new and improve existing products and processes.  Assures product and processes are developed and prepared for effective release to production, including set up, building, documenting, and training, as applicable.


How You'll Help Us Build The DNA of Tech:

  • Design review
  • Product documentation
  • Equipment set up and operation
  • Product build
  • Report creation
  • Interprets prints, schematics, bills of material, and other applicable product documentation to determine material and build requirements
  • Uses photos, data, and related experience to create detailed work instructions and accurate bills of material for use by production
  • Programming and set up of CNC winding equipment, troubleshoots and adjusts various equipment for use in producing product
  • Works with engineering to develop tools and fixtures required to wind, assemble, and test product
  • Works with engineering to develop and validate all required manufacturing processes
  • Builds product using winding, soldering, assembly, and encapsulation processes, in addition to visual, mechanical, and electrical inspection
  • Compiles reports using empirical test and inspection data collected through various equipment and methods


The Experience You'll Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of manufacturing-related experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills required
  • Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail
