Where You'll Work & The Scope:

Vishay, Marshall Minnesota, is currently seeking a full-time Manufacturing Engineer responsible for supporting new product introduction (NPI) initiatives including manufacturing and test process development, fixture and component mechanical design functions, shop-floor automation development, and prototype-to-production transition.


How You'll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech:

  • Design and development related meetings/rpoduct reviews
  • Support fixture design and verification
  • New equipment research, implementation, and verification
  • Support of shop floor automation/improvement projects
  • Process and equipment setup and troubleshooting
  • Support of development builds
  • Support of product launch to production
  • Provide day to day direction to NPI Technicians and Production Operators to drive sample/prototype builds for assigned products
  • Provide sustaining engineering support in production
  • Work directly with customers and suppliers in addressing product quality issues
  • Compile technical reports for customers
  • Work with various internal departments to move projects forward
  • Drive shop-floor automation and continuous improvement projects to completion


Experience You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree or technical degree in engineering or manufacturing-related field from accredited university or college
  • 3+ years of manufacturing-related experience preferred
  • Strong PC skills required
  • Strong troubleshooting skills required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary
