Total Rewards Manager

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is seeking a talented Manager, Total Rewards to be responsible for designing, developing and implementing compensation, benefits, and incentives that enables the company to attract, motivate, and retain top talent. Utilize knowledge of best practices to develop strategic, cost-effective, competitive, innovative, high quality total rewards programs. Manage the planning, implementation, maintenance and administration of these programs efficiently and accurately ensuring programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s compensation programs, including total rewards, job analysis/evaluation, salary structure administration, and design of base salary and variable cash compensation programs.
  • Develops, plans, and administers the company's benefits programs, including health and wellness, insurance programs, income protection, retirement plans, sick leave, time off, and vacation policies.
  • Provides thought leadership and execution of executive compensation and program design; collaborates with HR business partners to make appropriate decisions regarding total rewards.
  • Ensures that compensation and benefits programs are competitive and equitable, and that the programs are aligned to strategic corporate goals. Ensures programs are current with regard to trends, practices, and costs.
  • Works as a business partner to leadership on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation and job evaluation including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs.
  • Manage and oversee administration of total rewards including managing relationships with brokers, consultants and vendors.
  • Lead team communication and education regarding compensation and benefits
  • Oversees the execution of the renewal recommendation process and Open Enrollment process for benefit programs, including strategic planning, project management, education, and communication.
  • Stay apprised of industry trends and identify opportunities for enhancement to existing policies, practices and plans
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and international statutes and legislation.
  • Prepare and monitor the annual budget for compensation and benefits

 

Qualifications

● 5+ years of experience in compensation, benefits and leadership gained through increasingly responsible management positions within HR

● Experience designing and administering compensation, incentive and benefit plans

● Experience leading Compensation and Benefits in a mid to large sized manufacturing, distribution or retail company with multiple remote locations

● Excellent leadership skills and the ability to forge great relationships both within and outside of the HR team

● Executive presence with excellent presentation skills

● Experience with the RFP process in connection with insurance and defined benefit and contribution vendors

● Experience navigating and driving success in a global corporate environment

● Experience operating effectively in a decentralized organization with multiple sites and business units

● Previous experience working in a matrixed management environment

● Four-year college degree from an accredited institution in HR, Business or related field Skills

● Strong influencer with the ability to communicate and drive his/her vision

● Ability to operate as a player-coach who can interface with top management, develop team members and drive program execution

● Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products, proficiency with Excel and exposure to Google Drive products

● Highly strategic, analytical and numbers oriented

● Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills

● Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence and listen

● Pro-active innovator who operates with a sense of urgency
