Senior Manager, Human Resources

Vishay Intertechnology, Malvern, PA is currently seeking a fulltime Sr. Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for directly overseeing the Human Resources functions for the Corporate Office, Offsite regional Sales employees and an offsite manufacturing location.  In addition, this role will own and manage key HR activities including recruitment/selection, employee relations, HRIS maintenance, AAP/EEO, workers’ compensation/safety, employee activities, team building, and much more.  If you thrive in a collaborative, fast paced, team oriented, flexible environment and are looking for a role that will help you grow both personally and professionally, then this is the opportunity for you!

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for development and maintenance of business partner relationship with Corporate/Sales management to drive business objectives and strategies.
  • Directs HR staff in carrying out initiatives that will support management business objective.  Provides necessary direction and development opportunities while improving people and processes.
  • Works with HR Operations and Talent teams to implement standardized programs throughout all North American divisions.
  • Support and participate in regional employee development activities to build and refine the skills, knowledge and abilities of the workforce.
  • Coordinate succession planning efforts for the function supported.  Identify gaps and present solutions to fill the talent pipeline. 
  • Monitors, maintains and strives to outperform HR key performance indicators.
  • Directs the staffing and headcount initiatives to attract quality candidates which includes sourcing, interviewing, coordination with hiring manager and selection of non-exempt and exempt positions.
  • Advises and counsels management and employees regarding employee relations matters and is personally involved in internal investigations and disciplinary matters.
  • Conducts training sessions regarding leadership, policies, procedures and best practices to continually develop the workforce. 
  • Maintains compliance and adherence to policies and procedures, State and Federal laws including ADA, AAP, FMLA, EEO and OSHA requirements. 
  • Coordinates local administration of corporate compensation and benefit programs.
  • Participates in regional projects as assigned.


Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years Human Resources management experience supporting corporate office and/or corporate sales function
  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Demonstrated skill in emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and oral/written communications. 
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation, and knowledge of project management principles. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change, including dealing with ambiguity and managing conflict.

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in HR or related discipline.
