Part Time Quality Engineer

Vishay in Malvern PA is currently seeking a part time Quality Engineer responsible for ensuring the monthly/quarterly/annually Quality metric submissions from all Divisions Quality and creating and distributes Vishay’s performance. Prepares Presentations for all Corporate Metrics, Presidents’ Committee, Business and Customer Reviews – and other presentations upon request. Vishay certified Project Manager and Administrator of global Quality Management System.  

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and analyze Corporate Quality Complaint Database (CQCD).
  • Consolidate divisional returns and complaints data and issue Corporate Quality Metrics to Division Heads quarterly.
  • Consolidate Automotive industry complaints data and issue report monthly to Division Heads.
  • Manage the Sharepoint and Quality web site data to maintain up to date references
  • Compare CAS SupplyOn complaint data to CQCD
  • Create Corporate Quality Presentation for Business & Budget Reviews (incl. providing Divisions with standard quality metrics)
  • Corporate Quality Intranet Sharepoint Administrator for Global Quality.
  • Manage all QMS Certifications
  • Update of TAQ Divisonal Metrics Templates
  • Worldwide Administrator for International Material Data System (IMDS) and Honeywell Supplier Portal.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline.
  • 2-5 years experience with knowledge of quality specifications such as ISO 9001, TS 16949, ASQ Internal Auditor Certification a plus. 
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Occasional travel to other Vishay facilities to conduct internal audits or resolve customer issues.
