Where You'll Work & The Scope:
Vishay, Malven, PA is currently seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for performing diversified accounts payable responsibilities which includes accurately coding and processing invoices, verifying weekly payment proposals, and posting general journal entries. We're looking for a person who has good attention to detail, very organized and a team player.
How You'll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech:
- Performs diversified accounts payable responsibilities which includes accurately coding and processing invoices, verifying weekly payment proposals, and posting general journal entries.
- Balance records and reconcile accounts
- Assist in the SOX related audits and year-end financial audit
- Special projects related to General Accounting and AP
Experience You'll Need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of related accounting experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook. A working knowledge of Word, Excel, Concur, Dolphin/PTS and Accounting ERP System (SAP)
- Has substantial understanding of accounts payable and general accounting functions.
- Ability to apply business knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
- Attention to Detail, Organization, Analyzing Information, Vendor Relationships, PC Proficiency, Data Entry Skills & General Math Skills
