1. SUMMARY OF POSITION :

Accountable for the development, introduction and coordination of all the manufacturing processes at the three manufacturing sites in Juarez, making sure that these processes meet the ergonomic and safety standards , are statistically capable and reach the production output of the design intent.  Moreover, this person is responsible for supervising the launching of new products and the modifications to the processes so as to make them more productive, reducing down time, variation and scrap, implementing quick setups, paying attention to quality, ergonomics and safety. Likewise this person facilitates resources in an effective manner so as to support the production department, its people, the process and the equipment. Responsible for keeping the reliability of the  equipment.

Oversees the planning, development, and implementation of procedures/processes to ensure manufacturing methods,

processes and operations for new and existing products are running efficiently. Ensures the effective use of

materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs. Acts as liaison with other

departments in releasing new products. Develops systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products and processes.

It is the link and point of connection with Product Engineering organization in the Division for the transfer of information, product change management and the development and successful launch of new products and processes

Lead and coach the engineering team to perform data analysis and continuously improve quality.

Ensures effective use of materials, equipment and staff in producing quality products at

Interface with other departments to resolve engineering/quality issues

4. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Number of years of study and specifically the type of training and experience.

 Education: B.S. in Engineering or Applied Sciences, M.S. preferred.

 Experience: 10+ years of managerial experience in the automotive industry preferred coupled with strong people management, presentation and communication skills. 

 Basic Training: Induction

5.  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

English language proficiency is a must.

6. LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY AND DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY: specify the number of employees under your charge, budget and supervision responsibilities, sales volume, etc.
