1. SUMMARY OF POSITION:  Serves as primary communication link between Vishay Field Sales Rep, Vishay Direct Sales and Vishay Distributors.  This position will develop a close relationship with the Inside Sales, Field Sales Rep or Distributor in support of the product lines under Vishay Americas business unit. Focus will be on servicing OEM Rep Houses, Customer Portal Support, and SGA/EMS support.

Performs order entry functions/contract review functions, following SAP rules and guidelines.    Daily    20 %
Enters all change orders.  Consults with business units when situation requires it.    Daily    20 %
Submits RMA authorization request and enters SAP RMA once proper authorization has been received.    Weekly    5 %
Submits quote requests in SAP/Legacy for customers     Weekly    10 %
Requests Marketing to generate Material master and Customer Information Records when P/N is not in SAP system.    Weekly    5 %
Monitors EDI work flow box and corrects problems allowing orders to flow into SAP system.    Daily    15 %
Provides timely and accurate responses to inquiries from reps and customers utilizing SAP system and factory support.    Daily    10 %
Communicates critical customer information/requirements to business units.    Daily    10 %
Works on Logistics Issues/ Tracking / Document    Daily    5%


Coordinates expedite requests as received.    Daily    10 %
Advises reps/customers when deliveries will be delinquent.    Weekly    5 %
Works with Credit Dept. to resolve invoice issues.    Monthly    5 %
Works in Customer Portals/Orders/Changes/Cancelations    Weekly    5 %
Equipment utilization:  Uses telephone, personal computer, copy machine, fax machine and calculator.    Daily    100 %


4.  LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY AND DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY:  See Department Supervisor for full scope of directions.


5.  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Excellent communication skills in order to deal effectively with customers and company employees.  Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.  Excellent organization skills in order to accurately process customer orders and handle daily workloads.  Must be able to multi-task working with factory contacts in Marketing, Planning, Quality, etc. in the many business units associated with Vishay Americas.  Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office experience.  Have the ability to understand and learn the numerous product lines that Vishay Americas currently is producing.  Works to understand department objectives. Responds well to feedback.


A.    High school diploma or equivalent. Plus additional specialized training.
B.    Microsoft Office Products knowledge


Generally sedentary type work with mobility to require intermittently to handle such things as making copies, filing and expediting orders.   Good working conditions.  Occasional expose to elements such as noise, dust, cold or heat.  Some element is occasionally present which makes conditions less desirable than usually found in an office environment.
