Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in today's growing technology?  Vishay UltraSource in Hollis, New Hampshire is seeking a 1st shift Manufacturing Operator (Floater)This position will support daily thin film circuit production by preparing product for FQA inspection and or shipment. Assisting with other tasks as needed. Perform various in-process/ final inspections and tests. The Manufacturing Operator will help the cell meet its daily production obligations by adhering to quality and workmanship standards and producing work on-time and at the expected production rate.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Processing work orders through the cell in accordance with the daily schedule.
  • Verify materials are in compliance with customer drawings/requirements, and specifications.
  • Separate discrepant material, document and report inspection findings and results.
  • Perform in-process/final visual inspection of thin film circuits in accordance with inspection plans and specification requirements.
  • Load finished product into waffle packs and package according to customer specifications in preparation for shipment.
  • Perform accurate computer transactions within ERP system and other databases.

        Key Interfaces

  • Reports to the Supervisor/ Team Lead
  • Works closely with the team members in the cell and Processing Engineering.

 

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 and Industry specifications such as MIL Standard and/or IPC.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to read, comprehend, and interpret dimensional drawings.
  • Ability to handle small and fragile product without causing damage or breakage.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a microscope to find and identify defects.
  • Computer proficiency including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident in accordance with ITAR Policy.
