Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in today's growing technology?  Vishay UltraSource in Hollis, NH is seeking a full time, 1st shift, Production Operator (Sputter) responsible for processing substrates through the metal deposition (sputter) processes and inspecting substrates after metal deposition.  The Manufacturing Operator will help the cell meet its daily production obligations by adhering to quality and workmanship standards and producing work on-time and at the expected production rate.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for the set-up, cleaning, operation, and troubleshooting of vacuum coating equipment.
• Inspect substrates/devices for defect and quality using a microscope.
• Measure thickness of deposited metal using a Dektak machine to ensure correct thickness was deposited.
• Etch coupons in beakers using a corrosive chemicals with proper PPE.
• Accurately document production activities, record notes, and actions using electronic (computer) based production logs.
• Remove and replace target/cathodes when needed
• Strictly adhere to documented processes, workmanship standards, and procedures

Requirements:

• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 and industry specifications such as MIL Standard and/or IPC.

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college coursework preferred.
• Previous experience working in a cleanroom environment preferred.
• Proven ability to perform work under a microscope.
• Must be available 1st and 2nd shift.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
