Where You’ll Work & The Scope:

Vishay UltraSource in Hollis, NH is currently seeking a full-time Production Manager responsible for overseeing and improving the efficiency of production operations. We’re looking for an experienced candidate with thin film manufacturing experience, proven management and coaching skills, and the ability to bring people together to solve problems effectively.

 

How You’ll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech:

  • Supporting, motivating, training, and developing the production team
  • Ensuring all safety and health standards are understood and followed to keep the team accident-free
  • Evaluating and reducing machine and staffing risks in order to meet monthly production output to satisfy on-time delivery goals
  • Setting, monitoring, and meeting productivity goals for each manufacturing cell
  • Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve productivity without compromising safety or quality
  • Working with the planning team to ensure adequate scheduling of production staff
  • Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production

 

Experience You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong team building skills, previous experience managing direct reports
  • Ability to coach and motivate employees
  • Thin film manufacturing experience a plus
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with ERP and planning software and systems
  • Conflict management training
